Along Highway 101, the Washington coast hides magic. Between the old growth forest trails, the hidden beaches and meandering rivers, there is something for every outdoor enthusiast. Out of all the available locations there is one that combines them all: Ruby Beach. Sitting south of Forks, the trek to Ruby Beach begins at the edge of old growth forest. Following the trail to the bottom, brings you to the edge of Cedar Creek. Once you get past this watery border, the beach stretches before you. Ruby Beach is incredible to visit at any time, but the best time is at low tide when the seastacks create tide pools to explore. #seattle #travel #outside #hiking #wa #pnwonderland #beach #pnw #ocean #tidepools #nature #seastacks #wander #washingtonstate #washington #seattlebucketlist #river #forest #oldgrowth #driftwood #outdoors #camping #coast #pacific #trail
